A review of article submitter pro

The days of tediously submitting your articles to article directories one by one are over!

Imagine this scenario. There you are, in front of your keyboard, proud as punch after putting the finishing touches to your latest article. Feeling good? Great. But, if you are going to submit this article to multiple article directories your work is far from over.

In fact, you’re not even close. Unless you’re a magician, that is. You’ll spend hour upon hour manually copying and pasting to submit your article to all the sites that accept articles. What a drag! What a waste of time that could be better spent on other projects or writing more articles.

If you wish you had some help on occasions like this, you’re not alone. The good news is that I think I’ve found a wizard for you. It’s called Article Submitter Pro, and it is an incredibly powerful software application.

With Article Submitter Pro, you choose which web sites you want to submit your article to. Next, Article Submitter Pro determines the requirements for each site, formats your article to satisfy those requirements, and fills in as much of the forms as possible.

I was amazed at just how accurately it does this. I submitted one of my articles to over 100 article databases and the fields were automatically filled out correctly almost every single time. As a result I was able to submit to all these sites in a tiny fraction of the time it would have taken manually.

You can also create multiple bio boxes. Do you want a different bio on each article? No problem. Or would you like to submit a random bio with each submission? Again, Article Submitter Pro delivers. And don’t worry over whether the bio should be merged with the article or in a field by itself – the software works that out for you, too.

With this software you can also grab an article off your website and fill in all the text fields perfectly, ready for submission, in next to no time.

Now let’s look at management ability. One of the problems I have had in the past is remembering which sites I’ve submitted to and which ones I still need to do. This software keeps a record of all the articles you've ever submitted, and it’s virtually impossible to accidentally send the same article to a submission site twice.

There are just a couple of areas that I feel Article Submitter Pro needs some improvement.

Firstly, the web site says you can store your login information for each article submission site, but that feature seems to have been disabled in the current version. And it would be such an advantage to have it do just that.

Secondly, when merging the bio following an article, the software sometimes inserts your bio twice, requiring you to edit out one of them.

In conclusion, this software is superb. At $167, Article Submitter Pro is worth every dollar. The many powerful features far outweigh the few areas for improvement. It promises to help you submit your articles to hundreds of sites quickly, and it surely delivers on that promise.

I’ve already saved loads of time. But more importantly, I’ve had tons of traffic pouring in to my web site. And my sales climbed immediately. In fact, Article Submitter Pro paid for itself within just a few days.

Article marketing to boost site traffic

You've been writing great articles for your website or blog, keyword rich, insightful pieces that should be studied in marketing classes. You've probably seen an increase in site traffic since you started writing using SEO. But there's another way to use the articles that you're already writing to boost traffic even more.

Publish them on other sites.

It's simple math. Your site receives 200 hits a day. Site B receives 500. If you get an article published on Site B, your site and marketing links are exposed to 700 people.

Unfortunately, this can be easier said than done. You have to convince the editor or webmaster of Site B that your article is more worthy of publication than Joe Schmoe's about the same subject. If you think you can, then you are all set to start your very own article marketing campaign and boost traffic to your site. Here're some hints to sell articles for your article marketing campaign.

ARTICLE MARKETING STARTS WITH THE E-MAIL TO A PUBLISHER SITE

E-mail has become one of those quick forms of communication. We type them out real quick, using the first words and phrases that come to mind, and then send them off without a second thought, like leaving a voicemail. But in the case of article marketing (and everything else you use e-mail for), the e-mail is the first writing sample a buyer will read. If your e-mail is not professional and well written, there is no reason for a buyer to move onto the actual article. You will have failed the ever important first impression.

This is a failure that can be avoided by taking the time to edit the e-mail. Make sure that there are no grammatical mistakes, that your sentences make sense, and that you don't have more words necessary. Other things like making sure the subject line is eye catching or addressing the e-mail to a specific person instead of a company or a "To Whom It May Concern" can make your article stand out in the crowd.

MARKET ARTICLES TO THE APPROPRIATE SITES

This one sounds like a no brainer, but at least now you can't say nobody told you. Make sure that you send your articles to places that will actually publish them. This obviously applies to content (don't send an article about high New York Society to a Mountain Climber's website), but this also applies to style and voice and things like that. If you're an edgy, sarcastic writer, you probably don't want to be submitting to a serious, boring site. They simply won't publish your article, and your article marketing campaign will be a waste.

Also, don't just write an article and then try to get it published. This method might produce some results, but they will be few and far between and will require a lot of time and selling. Instead, write your articles with a specific site in mind. Go and read other articles on the site. Know the voice and structure of the already published articles. Review the submissions guidelines. Be familiar with policies. In the e-mail, include reasons that your article is a perfect match for their site. An article written with purpose for a specific site or group of sites will be more successful than one written without a destination in mind.

GRAMMAR, GRAMMAR, GRAMMAR

The whole point of article marketing is to convince people to click on the link to your site that you've included in your byline. You will lose a lot of credibility if your article is full of grammatical mistakes and poorly thought out sentences. Write several drafts of your articles. Make sure you're saying what you mean. Once your article is perfect, have someone else read it to make sure you're not blind. You'd be amazed what you miss in your own writing, even if you're a professional editor. Doing this will A. Make editors more likely to accept your work and B. Give the reader the impression that you are professional, which will in turn make them try to find out what else you have to say.

REFER BACK TO YOUR OTHER ARTICLE WITH LINKS

If you can, include links in the body of your e-mail that will lead back to your site. After all, that is the entire point of article marketing. A good way to do this is to refer to an article that you've written in the past that is 'coincidentally' posted only on your website. People like more information, and if you tell them there is more on another site, chances are that they'll go there, and you just got another hit.

Be careful not to overuse this technique. Too many links will make them commonplace and readers won't notice them. Including one or two makes them special and probably worthwhile. Also, don't link to irrelevant articles. Readers will just get annoyed and not browse around your site. The object of article marketing is to get people exploring your site. If they wind up at a random article, they'll just close the window and go back to what they were reading, instead of stumbling across your affiliate marketing links.

SIGN YOUR WORK

Don't ever forget about the signature or byline at the end of your article. This should include your name, of course, but also a link directly to your site's homepage. You might also consider linking to a few related articles that are posted on your site. Anyone who enjoyed the article will take the time to see who wrote it and what their background or own personal ventures are, and chances are, they'll click on the link to read more by you. The signature section is the climax of your article marketing campaign. It is where you are trying to guide readers with your article so they will see your links and visit your site and make you money. It's that simple.

Submit articles here there and everywhere - boom top of the search engines

While it is true that submitting articles can create massive amounts of traffic to your site there are a few key things to be considered. Unless of course your a lone ranger marketing in a niche without any competition, if so, this article is not for you. Simply a few backlinks with choice keywords aimed at your niche without any competitors pages and your flying high on page one of the top 3 search engines. Actually, now that I think about it while proofing this article - if that is you, please contact me as I'd like to know which niche your in. (:--)

Well that's a nice thought for a perfect world where everyone get's their own niche and every page of your site fills the first 3 pages of a Google search, but for the rest of us in larger markets the competition can be very fierce.

I'm not sure about you but I think many people blindly submit articles to article directories and ezine publishers without consideration for the keywords their targeting using their anchor text in their resource box or throughout the article. Most of us by now know that backlinks built up to our sites, steadily and progressively over time will cause us to rise, rise, rise in the serp's (search engine results pages).

There are SEO forums filled to overflowing on proper choice of keywords. I've not spent much time studying all the latest tips and tricks but while learning online marketing over this past year I've certainly picked up alot of knowledge of what works and what doesn't on the net.

Okay, enough of an intro - if your targeting a large market like say - "internet marketing" for example - just know that according to Google your up against 278 million pages that are also targeting this keyword. While a quick search in Overtures database reveals over 302 thousand searches in January of 2006 alone - this may be a market to be in some would quickly assume - well, maybe if your willing to wait a long time or have a 100,000 dollars in your bank account to captivate nearly every form of online promotion along with an expensive article submission service.

Of course with a little keyword research you could weed out about 98% of that competition. Let's dive right in and see what's possible.

I'm going to use my favorite keyword research tool, which I'm very enthusiastic about btw, email me if you need the best free one available, I'm going to look and see if I can find an easier keyword even in this large market. Hold tight, I'll be right back.

Okay, I'm back, why not target your articles and sites around the keyword of "idea making money" , it's regularily searched, over 8,000 times in January of 2006 but only has 9540 competing pages. In fact, I'm quite impressed by this keyword and I just might target it myself unless you beat me too it. Anyway, by targeting your articles, web pages and backlink anchor text keywords to this lesser competitive term you'll drastically shorten the time it takes to get to page 1 of the top 3 engines. Although the payout in the end won't be as large due to less traffic you will be handsomely rewarded if you do this 10 or 15 times over on different keywords, to do this just add more pages to your site - you'll need lot's anyway! By using keywords that have a realistic page 1-3 serp reach, you could see page one within only days or weeks rather than months or years. I also have a really impressive and fast site builder too if your in need. Again, email me if interested so I don't have to advertise an affiliate program in this article, which is another no no I hear. (:--)

In closing, some other quick tips not to forget - use your keyword once in the title of your article if it sounds realistic and not stupid! My suggested keyword above will need some creativity to flow well in sentences. Add your keyword a couple times throughout a 5-700 word article and once in your resource box should easily be enough. Just don't over do it and since the engines are more and more shooting for quality non-duplicated content your going to have to be submitting articles that are in english for long term reliability(:--).

Also, regarding the web page your targeting, use your keyword(s) once in the page title, once in your page headers, in at least one of the alt tags of your pictures and around 0.5 - 2 % of your pages total words. I've found this makes a difference when the spiders come crawling your pages.

All the best to you my fellow article submitters!
